Might be a Peppered Moth larva or an Oleander Hawk Moth larva.

Has the lava got a spike stuck out of the front? if so this is a moth that feeds off of the Honey suckle, it is either the Humming bird moth or the Hawk Moth, my cats bring the humming bird moths in all the time.
