why do people make retard jokes about the prez? i mean, i know he's a horrible leader and makes very bad decisions, but of course he had a human mother. of course he can walk upright. of course he can cook breakfast. you people probably don't even watch the news. i'm not sticking up for him, i'm just asking why you have to go to such lengths.

Because he has so thoroughly hosed up the country that he has lost the respect of most of the American people. Once you lose respect, you're done. It can only be earned, not demanded or commanded.
And I wonder about cooking breakfast. His old man didn't even know what the scanners were at the grocery checkouts! Talk about an out of touch family!

I find the jokes about Bush quite funny. But then I think he is the worst and most corrupt President our nation has ever seen. I would rather see the jokes directed at a single person than a whole group of people, such as blacks, hispanics, so forth. Bush has not done a lot to make himself look favorable in the public eye.

Actually, many of those people are giving him the benefit of the doubt.
He has held press conferences where he has admitted to willful violations of federal law (18 USC 2511), including felony war crimes (18 USC 2441). And he's said he's proud to have done it.
So, either there is something wrong with him psychologically, or he just knowingly admitted to betraying his oath of office and to being a career criminal.
