I'm general an optimist - so I think a lot of the things that I
would change will eventually change by themselves...

I therefore mentally changed your question to be "If you could
change one thing about America...".

I would re-word the 2nd ammendment to define what "arms"
are.

I have opinions on what the definition should be, but that
isn't important to this question. My point is that I would have
it be defined specifically.

However, I don't think that's going to happen, at least not
in my life time.

i would change the fact the america needs to start paying more attention to the needs of the american people, and play a lesser role as the world's police. Just because you have the power doesnt mean you should display it for all to see.

I understand the quote with great power comes great responsibility, but that being said...a multi-national power comprised of many nations working for a cause is far better than 1 super nation contributing to the entire world's problems.

Putting an end to lobbyists forming "voter education" groups... or at least making it more obvious who's involved in them... like forcing them to list their five top contributors during the commercial or something... so you know that Americans Against Frivolous Lawsuits (as a made-up example) is really the Coalition of Phillip Morris, Coal-Minor Exploiters Ltd., and Asbestos Factories Against Laborers' Lungs.

Make the government responsible for both their actions and inactivity. As any employee is held accountable for their job duties and subject to a probation or termination why should this differ from those who platform with promises that are not delivered or "flipped"?

We the people must restore faith in government by voting on issues and ensuring those elected carry them out or they get the pink slip!

The whole administration of the government. I would have the one the people voted for in the last 2 elections. Go figure. The real vote and I would let all the people vote reguardless of race.
