I am so amused by liberals and their claims that everyone besides themsleves are stupid. I voted for the president as did a majority of voters in the last election. Why did they vote for him? Simple, he makes people feel more safe than John Kerry did. Liberals did not get this fact in the last election, and they don't get it now. Their own belief that they have a superior intellect is their own undoing. Get over it people, Mr. Bush is the president, and president he will remain until 2008. Talk of impeachment is a pipe dream. Even if the Dems get a majority in the House following the mid term, they will not have a 3/4 majority in Senate required to actually remove a president from office. The simple fact is that moderates in this country do matter, they do vote, and their votes do count. All facts that that the Dems choose to ignore. The flyover country has spoken.

To the person who posted about Bill Clinton. You are showing your ignorance. Mr. Clinton was not in trouble for sleeping with an intern. He was impeached for lying about it under oath.

LARRY J7: What payback vote? All Supreme court justices for the previous 8 years were appointed by Clinton. Mr. Bush had not nominated anyone to the Supreme Court when the Florida decision was handed down. Geez, and Liberals say Conservatives are stupid!

It all started with a "pay back" vote in the Supreme Court for the nominations and confirmations given by the Republicans
That was the beginning

Then the second term was sold to the public on the backs of two strange pack mules---"don't change the course of things in the middle of a war"----and "don't send the wrong message to the terrorists"

In a nut shell-------those are the reasons !!!

In 2000 it was because of Jeb's dealings with a company called DBT used to wipe thousands of black voters off the roll (see link below). Whether you think it was accidental or not, there is little doubt that had it not happened Gore would have taken Florida, and the election.

All of you get off your high horses. Bush was not elected by the populous twice. What first brought him into Office was the Supreme Court (stacked by Daddy and Ronnie's appointees), after he came in second place amongst Americans. I think the second time was because most Americans wanted him to clean up the mess he created.

Well, lets see. There is this thing called "voting". The general public goes on a certain day and "casts" these other things called "ballots". These "ballots" have names of people on them. The general public chooses who they want to serve a specific office and the "casts" there "votes" on the "ballots". Some other people count all of these "votes" to determine who the "winner" is. The "winner" then takes over whatever office they were "voted" into. It's not that difficult to understand.

because the election was fixed the first time. Then everyone was so brainwashed by 9/11 into believing that George was so wonderful for declaring war on Iraq that they voted for the S.O.B yet again. Now here we are sitting on an elevated terror alert while he and his administration try to figure out yet another way to inflate prices and scare us into giving up even more of our liberties!

The Texas Twit was backed by the super-rich. However, their money and TV commercials were not enough to get him elected. Voters were needed. Karl Rove manipulated the born-again Christians into voting as a block for Bush. Bush and his billionaire backers don't care about abortion, stem cell research or evolution. It doesn't hurt them financially. The genius of Karl Rove is that he used the gullible Christians like pawns. He tricked them into voting against their own economic self-interest. After Bush was elected, Big Oil and the defense industry started making record profits. The Treasury has been looted; the nation is now in record debt.

What do you mean?? He was "selected" legally by the supreme court. He should be impeached. What's more serious, Clinton screwing an Intern or Bush screwing the whole country? He remains the most dangerous terrorist in the world today.
