The Rule Is We Cannot Bring Any Liquids With Us, Even Water. I Think This Sucks Because I'm Going Home To The Philippines This Nov.

I don't like it. When I travel for 2 or 3 days for work I like to put everything in 1 carry on bag. This way I don't have to deal with checking in luggage and waiting for it at the other end. If I do that now I have to buy shampoo and stuff every time I get to where I am going! Also on long flights I like to have a bottle of water to drink that I can close up.

I'm to the point now where I have cut WAY back on my air travel.
I'd rather drive for 8 hours then deal with trying to fly:

Between checking luggage and security it adds about 3 hours to the trip time. It's a 45 minute drive to the airport and a good 15 minutes to find a place to park. I'm leaving home almost 4 hours before my flight. That means I'm leaving home at 5am for a 9am flight.

It sucks and the airlines are going to pay for it and i bet 1 or 2 will go under.

There cannot be enough rules when it comes to the safety of our people. Folks who use the airline are the ones who must follow most of these rules because they will be going over my house at five hundred miles an hour. When I see one of those metal test tubes full of people I insist that I must not worry about my own safety.

It's all in the name of safety. I fly to the caribbean every year and that is 14 hours, but if it means that I have to get the flight attendants to work harder and bring me more water then that is fine as long as I get there safe.

YOU BIG DUMMY. What did you whine about before this?

My trips to the Phils I was wonderfully happy to get searched because I knew if there were any terrorists, they would get searched too. That gave me great peace of mind.

Come to think of it,. having body parts blown away at 38,000 feet over the ocean and -60 degrees cold freezing said body parts before they hit the water, and eventually becoming shark food sucks.

Have a great trip.

Well on flights they usually give stuff to drink. I think they made it to keep alcohol off airplanes so they can make more money off of the people sitting in coach

there not gonna let you sit on the plane for how ever many hours with water they do have that on the plane, but you have to look at it from there point of view they are just looking out for your safety.

Don't like it but understand. These terrorists are making bombs out of things from liquids, so better safe than blown up

It's only a matter of time before we are not allowed on a plane with *anything* except a hospital gown.
