My bedroom window is always open except in the middle of winter but even then it was warm enough last year that I frequently opened it when I went to bed. I don't close my window when it rains or thunderstorms because I love to listen to rain falling and thunder booming.

Well, during the summer I always keep my windows open. No air conditioning.

No. I live right in front of a lake and woods so there are way too many bugs at all times of the year.

Yeah, but some times birds fly into my window when it is closed and it scares me, but then i laugh at the birds.

If you have animals, you have to keep them open. Otherwise your house smells like a barn. Blech!
