I really want to go to a HIM concert and my mom does not like that band...she thinks that they are satanic...lol...even though they are the LEAST satanic band on EART...but they are performing at the HOUSE OF BLUES in MYRTLE BEACH on MAY 4, 2007 and we only live 3 hours away from it...my dad and my sister also hate the band so my mom doesn't get convinced by them, HOW SHALL I CONVINCE HER?????

OK so i really love HIM to and i convinced my mom to let me go to one of the concerts by taking a friend with me that well didnt really like them but they did by the end of the day. and you are right HIM is so far from satanic. But getting a responsible friend to come with you works and then if you want to tell a little white lie you can say one of their parents are coming with you. hope this helps you out a bit.

Well, I understand part of why your family doesn't want you to go to the concert. Three Hours to go there is a pretty long drive. I'm sure your family also would be worried about you from that far away. Show your Mom some of the cleanest lyrics they have. Tell her that she could stay in the area so she could be kinda close to you. If you have a cell phone obviously bring it along. Tell her that you will call her during intermission. It always works for me!

I was going to suggest telling her that those foam rubber earplugs will block out 30 decibels of noise and allow you two to talk during the concert. But sounds like that won't override the satanic objection. Maybe worth a try.

well start doing lots of stuff around the house and when she goes to reward you say no to it and say instead i want to go to the concert. It works every time.
