First, you can buy memory in just about any office supply or computer store or even online. The issue isn't the speed. What yuo have to do is find the book that came with your motherboard, or check online somewhere to see what "speed" your motherboard will take. If your board will take 533 megahertz or 600 megahertz, then it may not even take anything faster like the 800 megahertz that you want to get. You need to find out what speed you can have, and then upgrade the "amount" (megabytes, or gigabytes). The speed is then not the issue. What you have is fast enough. The amount is different. Hope this clears things up.

Almost every large supplier of RAM is already providing DDR2-1000 so the DDR2-800 (aka PC2-6400) is very common. I'm very surprised you couldn't find it. If you live in USA then you can look at this page: http://www3.shopping.com/xFS?FD=0&KW=ddr2-800
It has many options that you can get from almost every major supplier, you can also buy it online and have it delivered to your house directly, check it out and choose whatever suits you....Good luck.

Go to newegg.com, best place to buy RAM and they have a good selection of 800Mhz. But just a warning, make sure your motherboard supports 800Mhz because if it doesn't, you are wasting your money becasue RAM can only run as fast as the motherboard allows, and only the high end motherboard support 800Mhz right now.

I know of a really good Ram , It's on the neighbouring farm. I'm not sure if he's DDR2. but I'm sure the vet could help. I it's suitable, then the farmer might be open to offers, but I'm sure it won't be cheap. These beasts are rare !
