My friends sister is always finding men in jail to date. She claims she is in love when they eventually come out its fine for the first month then it all blows up in her face. She has done this twice now she is going to marry someone in prison. he gets out in 3 yrs she says he is "innocent" of all crimes and was framed by the police ( Have we heard that before?) We have given up on trying to talk her out of it. What is so fascinating with men in Prison? Especially a rapist.

well i dont know the exact reason but what i think is that they think they r cool cause they r in jail/prison and they think that doing all those bad things that they have done before they got in jail was awsome or some girls or women r just really stupid to pick a guy thats in jail and has done bad stuff and then it could happen to the women he is dating and that is bad though..
and they should pick a guy that they will love for as long as think it could last and its the guy they have been waiting for and you fell comportable with him and he can make you laugh and entertanement!!!you know!!

The big attarctive thing about men who are incarcerated is that they are unable to be making choices out there in the world. They surely are not cheating while they are behind bars , not out there running around with other women are they? No. They are very focused on women who agree to committ themselves to them. They dream of one day being free and of doing life the proper way, and they will include this woman in those dreams . I heard a long time ago a description of "romantic love" as being an exercise in mutual narcissism. I suppose the point I am trying to get at is for some women, a relationship with an incarcerated man is the perfect solution to all those otherwise nasty little features men exhibit which ultimately end up destroying a couple in the outside world (e.g. infidelity, drunkeness, etc.). I hasten to add here my apologies to the men out there who are good guys and I do not mean to generalize just about you. Women would love to control men, a lot would, not all. Prison can do this for them. It has always seemed so unrealistic to me whenever I hear about that. Sad, too. How pathetically desperate.

I love Quebec and Canada overall Went to school close to Montreal and you will find your share of knuckleheads, but overall its much more laid back and people go for what they like and don't get preoccupied about race. Whenever I went to the clubs in Montreal I had no problems with the white girls. I imagine Canadian men are open minded as well, only they can say for sure though.

Lets go to basics:
Women are always attracted to 'bad boy' image.
Also.. it often happens that a women dream of this romantic relationships as per novels.. In novels usually the characters always are the innocent ones...
The basic structure of a woman is nurturing. she is nurturing the 'hurt one'. She within the sole believes that she is a very special person (and I am sure she thinks no one understands her or see the value in her) and then she can give all her attention to a person in prison.
To have a relationship with someone in a prison is very easy. They always 'trapped', she always knows where they are, so it is also part of a control she has over a guy in a prison.. a guy like that can not betray her, just tells her lies and she accepts to believe that.. as she is this special person.. she is the ONLY ONE who believes THAT person and who stands by that person.. That by itself can bring ALOT of value in your
They talk, so it is often great communication, and it might happed that due to this great communication she herself evaluates of the situation (wright or wrong).

I think she has such low self esteem she believes that she is not good enough for anyone else.
The one great thing about dating someone in prison is that it will never work out. They are on one side of the cage and the dater is on the other - no intimacy, no children, no budget woes, and no worry about where that guy is at night. it is a perfect dream for someone who wants a boyfriend with no real future together.
I bet she drops him when it looks like he is getting out (and is three years all they gave him for rape?)

Some women think(not necessarily your sister) but they cant find a good guy on the outside or she knows where her man is all the time....but then when they get out its a different story...hope you can talk some sense into her, there are better men out there on the outside...try a computer nerd...lol

Perhaps she wants somebody with experience? HAHA, Seriously, It seems she also wants the men to appreciate her because she, unlike the rest of society feels sorry for them. Get her a Pomerainian Dog, this breed demands attention from its owner, and she obviously needs to share her life with something that won't turn on her. By the way, most prisoners are guilty of their crimes and when they admit it to themselves, they only want to get away from those who remind them of their crime. Which means your friends sister has to accept that she cannot use men for her constant need to mother. Really, get her a dog and she will thank you for it, after a few months.
