When everyone started to visit the European continents , they would come back from their visit and offer their guests the Continental breakfast usually it was the well to do's from New York . Because they visited the European Continents and this is what they were given on board for breakfast , a small mini breakfast , then a large one

If I had to guess I would say Denmark because continental breakfast always consist of danishes and coffee.
