Around my PC is a ton of wires ranging from coaxial cable modem to TV cable. Will these cables cause interference to each other and distort the signals???

I also have a router connect to the modem will the signal range be damaged?

Yes, but by how much is unclear. PC World published an article about how CD's and DVD's alone can block Wi Fi ( my apologies, I tried searching for the article but was unsuccessful). In addition, basic physics tell us that a loop of electrical wire, with a current running through it, creates a electro-magnetic (EM) field. The EM field causes Wi Fi interference. As an example, there is a big movement for broadband over power lines(BPL). BPL is a relatively new way to provide broadband over electrical lines. Imagine just plugging a modem to an electrical wall socket. Unfortunately, one major concern about BPL is the interference it causes for cordless phones, radios and televisions.

No, it wont. But it could interfere with the aesthetics. So if you want you can arrange them to your liking. What I did, was use those twist ties you find in a box of garbage bags & tied up all the excess cable. Its so much easier to clean & looks neater.

not unless you're running wireless connections. most all wires these days are shielded to prevent interference of the kind you are talking about. it can, although not often, be a problem if you have a wireless connection.
