Most people will tell you luke or vader. and they were good, but they had force powers. So while they were good it wasn't really thier skill but force powers. So my vote has to go for Han Solo. He has no force powers it is just pure skill. What he did in the movies was great after all he did successfully navigate an asteroid field and everyone knows the odds of that are approximatly 3720 to 1. And then that manover docking on to the star destroyer (which once again defied amazing odds) was genius. And then if you read what he does in some of the books you will definatly agree with me for example in The Courtship of Princess Leia Han goes to danthimare (a remote plante) but when he comes out of lightspeed there is an imperial fleet waiting to escape he got 2 ties on his tail then headed staright for a small crusier when he got close he fiered all his concusion ,missles blowing a hole in the ship just big enough for the falcon to fly into. The explosion however caused the ties to crash, and made it appear that the falcon was destroyed. The ship then crashed into the planet but han pulled out just before impact. In another book he gets caught in a star destryers tractor beam, unable to brake free he turns around and heads staright for the star destroyer following the pull of the tracktor beam. He pulls out just before impact and is the flying inches above the star destroyers hull. But this means he is under the shields, so while under the shields he takes out the bridge (after sending the comander a call with a few...choice words). Han rules.
After him I would go with wedge antillies, but Han totaly gets the prize in my opinion.

I forgot to mention captain antilles on the correllian corvette Tantive IV was not related to Wedge antilles (it says so in the books)

Great I did not expect some of you to get it so fast.

I have to use my freinds ID as I couldn`t get all of this in at the top.

Wedge Antillies is the greatest pilot in the Star wars films. In my opinion and this is why

1. His father is Captain Antillies of the Correllian Corvette heavily used in "Return Of The Sith" and captured at the start of "A New Hope" so flying is in his blood.
2. Wedge is the one who saves Lukes Butt above the first Death Star whilst they are dog fighting with the Tie fighters, "I cant Shake him" Cries Luke,,, Tie fighter explodes into bits "Thanks Wedge I owe you one". the later in the trench Wedge gets hit saving Luke again. Without Wedge saving him twice and a hand from Han Solo, Luke would not have blown up the first Death Star.
3. In Empire Strikes Back Wedge also uses his tow cable to disable an AT-AT . (on par with Mr Skywalker) and then does his job and escorts the transport ships safley through the Imperial blocade.
4. Return of the Jedi, Wedge sucessfully enters the superstructor of the second Death Star acompaned by the Millenium Facon, piloted by Lando Calrusion, attacks the power convertors and pilots his way out. One of the last scenes in ROTJ is of Luke Shaking Wedge`s hand congratulating him on being an excellent badass who without him the Rebellion would have failed.

Thus this means that Wedge Antillies is the ONLY Pilot in the Rebel Alliance who can have two death stars painted onto the side of his X wing. No use of the force for him, no Jedi training, just a great pilot who deserves better recognition.

Anakin/Darth Vader, even at the young age of 6 he was piloting POD Racers, and this is supposed to be impossible to handle for humans. Then going on later in life he became a master of each starcraft. The reason for this is above all Jedi, Anakin had the force to help guide his hand in piloting. Without even knowing what the force was, the midioclorians in his blood were guiding his senses, almost blindly.

Anikan/Darth Vader. He was piolting from the age of like 6 and would have totally kicked Luke's *** in the canyon run if Han hadn't blindsided him.

Han Solo because as a renegade pilot, he was used to taking evasive action to escape pursuers and enemies.

entire bear in mind might have an exciting medical care to it now that it rather is going to likely be rebooted and recalibrated for 2012. This technological know-how fiction action picture with a bit of luck will marvel lots of those together with his fulfillment.

Han Solo hands down. He's flying a half working ship dodging everybody and he had no Jedi training.
