Because a nice guy will stop to help a cheating guy, who's 'accidentally' fallen so the mean cheating guy will win then all the other guys see that the nice guy helped him and that guy one so they all do it and eventually the nice guy helps them all, they back-stab him and reach the finish line before him, SO the Nice Guy Finished Last'
I actually have no clue what I'm talking about, I'm just hyped up on monster lol. But seriously who knows?

Read "The Prince" by Machiavelli. Basically he says, the ends justify the means, and that if you are nice, you will fall prey to all the other people out there that are after the same power that you are. It is sad that a nice person will tend to be taken advantage of by people with more wicked intentions. A nice guy will play by the rules, where a not-so-nice guy will cheat to come in first. This is why I am not too fond of Machiavelli.

Because nice guy will take it responssibly and careful...
for example...in a restaurant he will be nice,he will eat slowly and he will finish last-he will not eat fast and finish first

Because people often don't know the line between "nice" and "doormat." Nice guys don't always finish last, but doormats do.
