DSL is merely a connection to get on the internet. Earthlink is a program to access the internet.

If you have DSL, what do you need Earthlink for? The trial version of Earthlink is intended to make you into one of their customers.
There are dozens of free products that they want to SUCKER you with. You need to become a bit more STREET SMART if you want to use the internet.

Call Earthlink. They should be able to coach you through the process. They have lots of customers and many have probably asked that already.
it is probably already on your computer with a shortcut just waiting to be clicked to start it.
