Pandora, thank you for your answer. Skin had not grown over the stud. The very tip of the stud was larger then the post and would not pass all the way through. But any how got it out. Just going to let it close and will have it done again on a later date and this time i will have it pierced with a stud and not a ring.

it wasn't painful the post was thin and it was able to clip the end off and it came right out.
