my parents just left after moving me into college about 4 hours ago and i have not been able to leave my room since. i cannot stop crying and thinking about them and how much i miss them and love them. this is the hardest thing ive ever done, and i dunno if im gonna make it. right now i feel like just going home to community college and being with my family because i miss them so much. i dont feel like i can make it through this. i know its supposedly going to get better, but right now i just dont see that happening

It's hard adjusting to being on your own. Will you have a roommate? Do you know anyone else there? When you finally have to get something to eat, try to find someone friendly looking to sit down and talk to. Little by little, as you make friends, and start classes, these feelings will diminish.
Meanwhile you can keep in touch with your family online through video chatting. I'm sure they are missing you as much as you miss them.
Good luck!

You need to realize that this is an important time for you.You are developing skills and habits that you will need to get by for the rest of your life.
Most of us love our parents dearly, but don't suffer from this level of sepparration anxiety when we reach college age. It sounds as if they did not adequately prepare you for adulthood,or independance. If this is the case, then you need to haul yourself up by the bootstraps and just suck it up,because life gets a whole lot rougher than college. If you can't handle it there , then your life is going to get much much harder in the coming years.

go out and do something. find a few friends and hang out. you'll be fine. just stop thinking about it so much. go out a find something fun to do. everyone has to go through it at some point in their life, and you'll be fine as well. it's ok to miss your parents, but college is a big step and responsiblility and it can be fun. Just give it some time, keep yourself busy and you'll find that you'll make out just fine.

You will be fine. Just keep telling yourself. It's going to be okay. Trust me. Go out tonight, meet people, have fun. Don't drink. You'll be having so much fun before you know it.

Trust me, I've been there.

Quit school and go work at Burger King and live with your parents forever. Or.............................................................
Get up off yor azz and quit feeling sorry for yourself. Go outside and meet some people, go have a few cocktails and enjoy being on your own. Make friends, make enemies, get laid, get drunk, get high, good luck

Deal with it. it could be worse.

I won't see my parents before they die and they are 18 000 miles away.

It's life
