I agree totally with you. The price of fame is having fans, and in having them, you give up some of your privacy. They don't mind fame and the recognition and money that goes with it, the money which gives them the opportunity to buy privacy more expensive than any of us could afford, yet they still complain. Sorry, but I do not feel sorry for them.

It really gets on my nerves. And secretly, as much as they complain, i think they still love the attention, and by complaining that gets them even more attention. The only times that i agree with them that it is really wrong of fans to intrude are - when they are in a public restroom. i don't care if it's public or not... going potty is private ... let them do their duty on their own without bugging them people.
And 2 when they are with their kids. That is their family time. Let them have some privacy with their kids. It's not fair to mob them if they are outing with the kids. And just shows how little people really like them if they are willing to intrude on their family time.
Other than that though they are fair game. They wanted to be famous, they spend all the money we give them for being famous, they can damn well take the attention they so obviously crave.

If I were a celebity I would love it. It's an easy way to make friends I guess. Fans make celebities. So why forget them when you finally get there. If you want privacy then buy an island.

I feel the same. When they win awards they always say they love and want to thank their fans but then they whine about privacy. I would love to have fans. Even if people were always taking pictures of me, I'm the type of person who doesn't care what people think of me and I also don't go around sticking my nose in people's business. Who cares if such and such do this and that. That's life.

I heard a celebrity say once that people who want to be famous spend their lives trying to get into the spotlight and once they are there, they spend the rest of their life trying to hide from it. Those that want to have a private life manage to do so. Its a game they play, IMO, to get publicity...it is their agents and publicists who will contact paparazzi and tell them where the celeb is going to be.

With fame--any type, you could be a famous serial killer--comes fans, period.
I don't think I would want to be famous, I'm too private of a person.

I would be nice to be famous but the downsides are stalkers, people after your money, paps and over obsessive fans.
Famous people know what to expect so have no right to complain.

Fans are one of the perks which comes wioth being famous. You certainly wouldn't want people to think you are snobbish, then you will become infamous, instead of being famous.
