If you have a RAID then you may well need third party RAID drivers before the installation can continue. Watch the installation for it, there are provisions within the installation to facilitate this. Windows XP Professional and presumably home is only capable of installing on a RAID 0 setup. Server versions are of course capable of setting up any RAID type.
This is why I don't bother with RAIDs at least during install, it's much easier to set them up AFTER you have installed Windows.
Of course this only applies if you have indeed setup a RAID. If you haven't... what happens if you just say "No" when it asks you, is it the same result?

RAID stands for Random Array of Independent Disks. RAID is basically hard drives that run in cooperation with each other, using each one as a local disk.
Raid is the use of multiple disk drives to do one of two things.
1. mirror the disk drives so that if one fails, the other will continue to function and you will not loose your data.
2. stripe the data across multiple drives so that the computer will access the data faster. Raid drives require multiple disk drives and a Raid disk controller. Some mother boards have a built in Raid controller
It looks like you will have a decision to make.

somewhat, i could in simple terms format the not hardship-free stress and reinstall residing house windows. Backup your archives and run your restoration disc or partition. which will resolve your issues as quickly as and for all. you do not might desire to pay them $sixty 5 and hour to do it - rather hardship-free to do it your self.
