think about the notion of man being able to have lands which are "hands off" to man...so that the large tribes of insects can reside there.... I think that insects in general need to learn about monogamous lifestyles if they are already not monogamous

I do not know "who is against who" when it comes to "MAN-----insects".

Why would we want to do so? Insects spread disease. Their bites can cause a severe allergic reaction, etc., etc. They were part of the curse placed on this earth at the time that Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden.

All insects have a place in the eco system. We are learning this with the larger animals on the earth. When one dies out, the whole system is compromised.
Except spiders. If they are in MY house, they get an early burial, either by newspaper or cat. They are fine outdoors. But enter my domain, their dead meat.

I think we NEVER will. I think the question should be 'Who thinks that insects can learn to live peacefully with man?' It is them thats against us, not the other way around!

other than cockroaches and flies and mosquitoes and just about every other insect, we get along just fine!! :)

i wouldn't want to--they'd end up taking over. much much bigger population of bugs per capita than humans already.
