to mimic everybody else, practice practice practice!

i also find that practicing in front of a mirror a lot helps my acting get better b/c i can critique myself and know what body language works or doesn't work. i also record myself saying lines or singing so that i can critique myself.

when i practice singing, if there's a vowel on a note that doesn't come easily to me, i keep singing that vowel differently on that note until it feels easy to me. for example, if i sing the word "apple" on high F and it doesn't feel like an easy word to sing on F, then i practice dropping my jaw and singing more like 'AH-pple' or bringing up my jaw to make it sound more like 'aaaapple', whichever feels easiest.

hope that wasn't too confusing :)

and whatever you do, in acting or singing, do it CONFIDENTLY!! when you're on stage, sing or act like you have nothing to hide!

HI, I was looking at the answer questions and i saw yours. Maybe i can help! You can spend like a couple bucks on singing classes. And you can keep practicating sing everyday. On acting, you can do school plays and do plays at home too!

HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!!

Best I can tell you is don't be yourself on stage. You become somebody else, and you are less self-conscious. You are not you, you are the thing on the stage. Whatever part you are taking. That is really the secret. Getting yourself off the stage and putting the other persona on it.

practice every chance you get... and when you sing, actually criticize yourself a little so you don't think you're amazing at it when in reality you're... well.. not. good luck. i wanna sing and dance! move those hips!
