Lack of strong political leadership is the only roadblock for India in surfacing as the super power. Otherwise the inherent strength is tremendous.

What is your example of a super power?

I guess America.

How can you wish India to become a super power like America?

First of all India is not in any way similar to America.

The population of India is 90% hindu. I billion. The population of America is christian and all colors and races etc.

Totally contradictory.

Hinduism does not believe in killing. America makes arms and sells them to countries like Pakistan that is killing innocent people in India and elsewhere.

So America is facilitating the oppression of people who do not attack others and helping Pakistan to steal more from India.

How can India ever become a super power like America?

India does not make arms for commercial purposes.

India does not believe in a mixed society. Everyone else is trying to change it but that will kill hinduism.

So why should there be even a reason for india to be a super power?

There are no roadblocks to becoming one.

There should be no reason for india to become one. That will kill hinduism, the oldest religion in the world.

Im a 13 year old Indian and here are all the things and I will also tell you how they are improving. Every year I go there to visit my
family there are huge improvements like building
construction and street cleaners.

Pollution- Its really cramed and loud with littering and
smoke and garbage and cows on the streets
The improvement I have seen in the past
5 years from this is that in 90% of all
the places in India have banned cows
roaming around and you can only see
cows with owners pulling carts for merchandise
these days as of last year. Last year when I visited
the littering has stopped and the streets are cleaned
every night with giant trucks. Homeless people
are now asigned jobs to clean the streets
and they wear those orange vests while
on the job. The streets are still crowded
but its more comfortable to be in cities
now. Its become like a regular Asian country.
There are new shops that go 20 stories
high and they are clean with marble floors
and there are bright neon lights and
its very cheerfull nowadays. New buildings
and highways are being constructed to stop
traffic and highways like America are common.
The Airports are now Beutifull and there seems
to be better treatment to people. Gaurds
always patrol the Airport from cons and
whenever tourists leave on the desk counter they
ask you to fill out what improvements you have seen in
India and what seems to be the problem and
they ask if you like the new Airport decorations like
Plasma television and places to worship, shops etc.
The survey is from the government.

Poverty- 5 years ago you always see people begging
on the streets. Although today there are beggars
in some areas the government is doing something
about it. There are beggars but few and
I have noticed that the caste system is not
used as often and people seem to be giving
money to the poor people and they seem
to be getting jobs as street cleaners who help
clean hard to reach dumps while government
trucks clean streets. The govenment also
cares a lot about the poor and are opening
hospitals and they also gave 1000 rs. for
the poor stuck in monsunes and also give
a help personal care kit. There still needs
to significant improvement but they are
getting there. 25% lived in poverty but
the government says that now its 15%.

Corruption- Governments are not really well organized
and terrorism tears the place up as well as
people are always unkind to each other
and when you talk to somebody they are
always replying with a bad mood and
the law was not well organized and
criminals bribe police to let them go.
Now the last time I went to India the law seems to
be more strict. I noticed that every 500 ft
there are police officers in jeeps holding
pistols and machine guns. This is a sign
that the government will not tolerate
terrorism dispite the train bombings the
entire Indian military became active and my
Grandpa on the phone said that lots of suspects
are being arrested and the border is highly
secure and random security checks are done.
About police corruption that is also
being improved everytime I go there.
When my mom, dad, sister and me went to
India on Nov to visit my uncles, aunts and
grandparents at the Airport parking lot
this man came and told my dad ( In our
language ofcourse) " Hello sir I helped you
take out the luggages and you ow me
30 Rupees. My dad took out his wallet
and he had a handfull of 20,s. The man
had not really helped with luggages he
just wanted money so he snatched all the 20's
from my dad's hand and made a run for it.
My two uncle's screamed "POLICE THERE
IS A THEIF" the guy with the money only got
25 feet from us when 4 police blew a whistle and
beat him with their riffles. The gaurds handed
all 500 rupees back and took him inside a
police jeep. I also noticed that more courts
are constructed for trial but that man was
arrested without trial.

Disease- India is the number 1 country with the most people
with HIV. There are also other diseases from
the filth on the streets. But according to
reasearch poor people are being vaccinated
and since street clean up is common
such risks have been lowered according to
reasearch I have done. Although tourists
may still need to be vaccinated. Government
health groups have now built more hospitals and
HIV spread has been lowered. But this
problem needs a lot of attention. Since India
is a country of a billion more medical research
has been done by its number of graduates
in Medical school.

The longer it takes to solve these problems the longer it will
take for India to become a super power. But every second
India improves in these things. It now has the 4th strongest
Armed forces and they are jumping toward technology
and it has 100 million people with cellphones.
JAI HIND!!!
