Fun, boredom, i once throw yellow jelly onto a roof of a white car in the sun knowing it would be really hard to get off. It was one of my old teachers who was a real cow!

Why not? sounds like fun to me.
But that was probably the main aim, to get people like yourself guessing as to why he did it. At the end of the day, it's given you something truly mundane to think about, with no way of finding out.

Well, why not? Nothing better to do. Provides a few minutes of amusement... Then to move on to something else... Like sticking pepperoni to cars... if they peal it off the paint comes off... :P

i honestly couldnt say, although the choice of colours seems somewhat illogical...it should surely be red orange yellow green?...
