I like to ask questions, because I feel it important to know the answer. I do not like offending individuals or coming across as judgmental. Is there a correct way to ask questions?

this one is asked perfectly!
i personally need to take more time thinking, instead of just jamming on the keyboard with little thought behind the words.
it's also hard to answer without coming across the wrong way.

It's very difficult to come across as not being judgemental. One has to be totally unbiased which is nearly impossible. Even if you try to be non-judgemental someone will interpret you as being judgemental, regardless of your intent. (personal experience speaking here). Since most people here are accustomed to a wide array of Q&A and have developed a thick skin, what does it matter? Just politely ask your question, judgemental or not, and let the chips fall where they may. If some answers bother you, just ignore them. It's okay for people to disagree. Beliefs are beliefs... nothing more. Just ask and answer, learn what you can, and leave the junk to rot. No biggie.

'nuff said?

If people ask difficult questions and you think you have an answer that will help them give it to them and let them decide if they will get man or not you can but a lot of soft words in which is good that shows you are not mad but you can do all of that and people will still get mad at you so if you are going to be in the ball game be in the ball game trying to do it all out of true concern for them. and wrighting things the right way so people will not get mad is much harder than if you were face to face with them talking. When talking your mood and feeling for them are clearly seen no matter what may be said but the good old paper and pen its nature is harsh in these circumstances

Be objective and enter your question from as neutral a stance as possible.

Do not use leading questions because they pollute the integrity of the question and subsequent answers.

If you have that much bias, why bother to ask a question which will not allow you to open your mind to different viewpoints?

Best way is to NOT ask using the word "If" and your bias inserted. Example: "IF God really loves his people, he wouldn't want anyone to go to hell, so it really doesn't matter what we do, right?"

Or, "IF all blacks are stupid, wouldn't it be better to...?"

As long as you ask a question avoiding that, I wouldn't see it as judgmental.

That depends on the question, but does it really matter whether you sound judgemental or not? It's your opinion, and if people don't agree, then they don't agree. That's what is great about having opinions, everyone is different. I hope I helped ^_^

Just ask nicely without any assumptions or bias in the question.

Avoid things like 'Why do ALL...' . This sort of says you have made up your mind about a whole group of people.

Can someone explain to me why SOME.... sounds a whole lot better.
