foundation brush?

does anyone know where I can get an inexpensive foundation brush, without having to order it online? I'm going shopping today and need one, but all of the ones that I'm seeing online are over ten dollars. I found one from e.l.f cosmetics for a dollar, but I would have to order it online and pay $5 for shipping.

Go to an art supply store. Many paint brushes are great for applying makeup. Choose a brush with natural bristles or with a blend of natural and synthetic bristles. Preferably it should be a flat tapered brush.

A good make up brush set is a "Must"
If you take care of them they last forever. You have to wash them occasionally in mild shampoo, shake them out and stand them up to dry.
You have to get real hair too. I know they are costly but it is something that you need for your makeup to look the best it can.
Cheap brushes don't blend the makeup like it should either.
Make the investment, it's worth it! And remember the bigger and the more fluffy the better.

i recommend avoiding makeup brushes. they must frequently be cleaned, use (waste) a lot of makeup, and often dont produce the results you want. i find that makeup doesnt have the advertised texture the brushes proclaim and looks rather caked on. instead try using clean finger tips blended with good ol' water or a moisturizer. another alternative to a brush is a makeup sponge...at drug stores in bulk for cheapness. reusable if cleaned with soap and water every two to three applications.
