Mr. Incredible. My oppinion is that both of them are equal in strenght, I don't think Mr. Incredible is as strong as The Hulk, and I know for sure that The Thing is no where near that either. Still, I have to go with Mr. Incredible on this one since he has a bit more brains and not just brawn. Also, as shown in the movie, Mr. Incredible was smart enough to destroy that genius robot that the evil scientisc made, I forget his name. As for Ben, I don't think there's any trace that shows that he uses his brain as much as his strenght. Therefore, Mr. Incredible will use his brains and overcome The Thing since he will realize that there is no point in trying to defeat him only by using his power.

Winner: Mr. Incredible

Reed has already had to restrain Ben on a number of occasions when it seemed as though he might go berserk. While Ben does have the strength advantage by far, Reed can wrap his arms around him multiple times and keep him pent up while keeping his vulnerable parts out of Ben's reach. For this reason, I do not believe that the Thing could simply knock Mr. Fantastic out cold. He has fantastic (what else would you call it?) resistance to impact and ability to rebound from kinetic energy attacks-- which is all his rocky pal has going for him.

Now, if-- IF-- Ben used his head, and planned in advance, and hit Reed with a trick or puzzle or indirect attack, that might have a chance. Ben has a good head on his shoulders (the Thing has no neck, as you will realize if you look at the way he is drawn) but Reed's intellect often makes everybody around him feel stupid. So Reed might not expect the subtle approach from one whose rallying cry is "IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!"

Hmmm.. I think the Thing. Mr. Incredible might have sligh advantage in strength, but the stoney hide of Ben Grimm - one good slap and Mr. I is bruised and battered wonder why his head is stuck in the pavement.
