There are lot of difference
1) MCA is purely a computer related degree
B.Tech is an engineering degree can be in any stream including computers
2) MCA is a post graduation degree
B.Tech is a graduation degree
While getting a job in India in software field however both these degrees are considered to be equal, irrespective of the fact that one is a graduation and other is a post graduation degree
A person doing simple graduation I mean to say BSc or BCom or BA goes for MCA. for engineering students after B.Tech it is M.Tech.

MCA is
postgraduation course in computer applications
whereas
B.Tech is
graduation course in engineering
