I'm a podiatrist, to be honest we as a profession normally advise people not to wear shoes which hurt your feet and cause problems like blisters. if on the odd occasion you wear these shoes the advise given earlier on the material plasters (band aid) is pretty sound. with regards to treating them, be sure to keep them clean as the are more prone to infection. whilst they have fluid inside leave them as they are. they are sterile inside and safe, however keep a close eye on them and when they burst naturally bath them in salt water regularly and gently remove the dead (white) skin with a foot file or similar leaving none left. this will reduce the chance of infection.
take care.
ps. definately DO NOT buy a smaller shoe!

No dont BUY a smaller shoe, this will cause blisters on your feet. When trying on shoes always aloow a space betwwen your heal on 2 fingers. In sandles, make sure you have about half an inch before your longest toe hits the end of the shoe.
You can go to the pharmacy and buy these little non see pads that protects the blisters on your feet. Its like a bandaid, and it has a hole cut out for the blister. Dont put lotions on this blister, with in a few days the blister will pop, it will burn at first but you will get used to it. Continue wearing this band aid type of thing until you can fully walk on your foot with out any type of pain.

Recently I bought Replay shoes with 3 inches heel, and they seem to be very comfy. After 2 hours in town, I went back home with my shoes in my hand. Had to wear flip-flops 3 days because of the blisters. Now before I put them on, i stick plasters around the "problem areas of my feet" and everything is OK!
Do the same thing and you won't be sorry

I had the same problem a few months back! You can now buy clear plasters especially to help treat blisters - they work very well. They can also be worn to prevent the blisters in the first place and because they're clear you can wear them with your lush strappy heels. You can purchase them in any pharmacy.

Get a massive plaster and stick it on the ball part of your shoe, so when you put them on the bottom ball of your foot is on the plaster.
It reduces the rubbing, seriously try it.
Good luck :)

Keep them clean & where socks. Whatever you do do not put alcohol on them it stings loads! I tried it once & it was horrid!
To make them go away quicker don't pop them.
