just found out a couple of weeks ago that my wife is pregnant, we have an appointment for a Dr. visit but until then we are wondering what she can take for everyday needs as in a headache, upset stomach etc.

She can take tylenol

Acetaminophen is the active ingrediant in Tylenol, and yes she should be able to take that, it is TYPICALLY safe for pregnant women, but of course always check with your doctor just to make sure. Pepto Bismol, I'm not so sure about that.

Since it is so early stay away form anything unnecessary, don't worry about it until she gets a headache or stomach ache, and always ask your doctor before you take anything in the first 3 months, the time when over the counter drugs have the strongest effects on a growing fetus

She can take Tylenol, NO ibuprofen. I don't think Pepto is ok, read the bottle, ask your doc.

Tylenol is ok.

Use Tums for upset stomach. They're nothing but calcium (what she needs anyway!).
