paul bearer was buried and suffocated in cement by the undertaker. how did the wwe writers make the stunt so that he wouldn't really be suffocated?

There wasnt a trap door. There was a statement made on WWE.com that after the show went off the air, Percy Pringle AKA Paul Bearer, was pulled out of the coffin. He was also given a breathing apparatus and had it kept in his coat. Whenever the cement got high enough for him to pull it out he did. But he was pulled of the cement before he had problems breathing. And also that cement was mostly water. There were good amounts of concrete yeah, but it was mostly water. Hope that helps you out.
