You go out and have a good time..It only hurts for a little while. Bfore you know it your saying Who? A broken heart is rough but rather than staying home feeling sorry for yourself go out and do things..You don't need another relationship right away but you can still have fun..

Let go little by little. Allow yourself only 2 mins to think of this person at a time, get out and about, cry. A broken heart can't be mended, the scars will remain, but with time something good will come of it.

It is an old cliche that time is a great healer, but it is true. In the meantime you can get rid of anything and everything that reminds you of the person who broke your heart. Burn photographs, give away the presents they gave you and anything that reminds you. Imagine you and this person tied together with string and then visualise a pair of scissors cutting that string, thus, symbolically separating the two of you once and for all. Also focus on all the bad things in the relationship which will make you glad that its over. Good luck and I hope you find the happiness you deserve with someone else.

Dive into activity! What are the things that YOU are all about? Maybe you haven't done something or seen someone in a long time because you were wrapped up in this relationship. Exercise your freedom to do what you want, when you want as often as you want. Or better yet, take a class or do something you've always wanted to do but never tried before...like sky diving. Do something out of the ordinary, exciting...it will offer you a new perspective on life.

walking away from it wont help with your future because you willl always have a broken or chipped bit in you. but you could just keep remembering it. and cry all you want to get rid of it all. then try moving away from the person. don't talk to him or anything. it Will take a bit of time but have patience and you will get over it.

time and fun. keep well away from the braker....it will only remind you of the pain.

get a new haircut, a new outfit and go on a nite out with your best buds.....remember what it was like to be young and single!
