I do everything to a credit card, because if something were to happen you can cancel the card or refute the charges (depending on company). However, if you tie it to a check, that's your bank account number, and good luck getting your money back if it was taken out directly from there.

Hope this helps!
Jason

p.s. look into the policy of identity fraud on both accounts (credit and bank) and then choose from there

Credit Card.

There is technology on the way, which will embed a chip in the credit card - the chip will provide a single use password, that can be verified by the credit card company. This means, unless someone physically has your credit card in their hand, they can NOT use the number on the web, to make fraudulent charges. Can't wait for this new tech. to arrive.

The safest thing you can do is to call the company and buy the merchandise by phone but if you must do it online then make sure you get AD-Awayre SE personal and Spybot-Search and Destroy (get both because spybot detects some spywares that ADaware doesn't and vice versa) and scan your entire computer for spyware that might track you credit card info. I make sure I scan mine right before i make a purchase online.

Use a credit card if in doubt. It's easier to change than your bank account in the unlikely event something happens.

hi, i think credit card is more safe and convenient. only if there is no virus with your IE.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:
