Put a piece of tape in the bottom centre of your rear window and when you reverse, keep it in line with the curb. If it doesn't work, just move the tape across a little. Good luck.

You must first of all get confident in reversing in a straight line.
Make sure that you can reverse at least a hundred yards without wavering all over the place. This gets you used to the way the car works when going backwards.
The best way to reverse round a corner is to take a good look at the corner as you pass it, before you start reversing, and see how wide the pavement is, how wide the road is, and get a clear picture in your mind of how the corner looks. Now, before you start reversing, get a clear picture in your mind of the line you want to take round the corner. You know that the back nearside wheel is the important one. You don't want it running over the kerb, and you don't want it too far away from the kerb. So you want to be able to judge when the rear wheel will reach the apex of the corner, on the line you envisaged. Move the car as slowly as possible, by slipping the clutch, and then as the rear wheel reaches the place where you think the apex is start to turn the steering wheel quickly. Do not look in the mirrors as this distracts and confuses you. Keep glancing towards the front so that you can see how far you have gone round the corner, and just before you reach parallel with the side-street kerb, start to wind off the steering, so that you are steering straight by the time you complete the turn. Now make whatever adjustment is necessary to get the right position close to the kerb.
Just keep doing it on the same corner until it clicks, and when it does move to another corner which is different and do it all over again. As soon as you have done it right a few times, you will never have a problem again

Years Ago, I decided to apply for a CDL License, after taking the written test, you know I had to take a driving test. now I'm talking about a bus. this may in a beginners eye-site pretty worried, will I pass this driving test in this big long vehicle.
I had driven a van which isn't as long as a bus. they are nothing alike.
My theory is!
Think of nothing but, I am going to pass this driving test. and nothing can stop or frighten me.
I suggest:
Use your mirrors, meaning the one which is close to you, which is your rear view mirror, look first at where you are going before you start to put the car in reverse. judge where you are positioned at with the car.
Is the car sitting on an angle if so, straighten it out first. Put the car into drive to straighten the wheels. ( Caution )watch for people first.
After you have positioned your wheels, put the car into reverse, do-not use the gas petal yet.
Remember you are backing up using your mirrors

My driving instructor showed me how to use the kerb and the rear head rest and keep them in line with each other. Try by looking behind you at the position of the kerb and the head rest when you are parked up. This will give you a guideline. What i do is lower the left or right hand mirror so i can see the kerb and use that also. Both of these methods combined and you will be able to do it perfectly. I hope this helps and good look for the future test.

Get another driving instructor is a start. MAking jokes about women isn't helping.
You need to use your rear view mirror and the mirror nearest to the corner you are turning (should be the passenger side one - unless he's really nasty). Go very slowly, there is no time limit on how long it takes you. Make sure you can see the kerb in the side mirror (you may need to sit up slightly to do so) and just gradually guide it around. It is practise, practise, practise and ideally practise without wise crack remarks from your instructor.

I had exactly the same problem and the only way to resolve it was to go out with someone and practise practise and practise and parctise some more!! I know it sounds obvious but it was the only way I cracked it!
Also learning what to look out for in your mirrors and what bits of the car to watch. My instructor was stuck exlpaining it to me and eventually stuck wee bits of paper on the back window which would line up with the kerb when I was to start turning!
Best of it was when I actually got to my test the tester never made me do it and I passed first time! And I've never done it since, been driving 2 years!
Good luck and keep practising!

"the vehicle needs to flow"???? i comprehend you prob did no longer mean to declare that yet you're making the vehicle do each and every thing. My suggestion is to flow to a great open component of concrete and lay out a junction and prepare, prepare, prepare. it will pay you interior the long-term. while you're going backwards and turn the steerage wheel to the LEFT the vehicle will flow to the main suitable as you seem in the back of you out of the rear window. to do this instinctively and with self belief takes an prolonged time, you will possibly no longer do it top first, 2d or hundredth time yet you will interior the tip. shop training. do no longer even think of of having a attempt date till you're incredibly specific you're helpful or you would be dropping a good number of money and self belief.

firstly dont keep telling yourself that its a manouvre that you can't do or you will keep on getting it wrong. I always find that watching the kirb helps... follow the kirb and you shouldn't end up in the middle of the road or on the wrong side. My driving instructor always said that I should start turning as soon as the 'the back seatbelt' is level with the kirb on the side of the road I want to end up on. Don't know if that helps?
