probably not, cause even though he can wield the swords with a master's touch he still despises humanity. the father was highly smart to of given inuyasha and sesshomaru the swords he did. Inuyasha the tegsaiga because he felt simpathy 4 humans and he would use it to help them. and sesshomaru the tensaiga to help him learn to use his powers to protect others. besides, the sounga could only be mastered in the right way by his father. Although it is true that he should probably get a better sword than the tensaiga

He had a sword called Toukijin made from the fang of a powerful demon, so now he has 2 swords.

He did have Tokijin, but it was destroyed. In the manga right now, the Tensaiga has been developing a new power, so it may become stronger than the Sounga. We just have to wait & see.
