That's a good question...
The terms "beginning" and "end" are relative to time. Since time is a man made invention, you'd have to determine where they decided the beginning and the end would be. To the best of my knowledge, time is based on the revolution of the earth around the sun and so the beginning & the end is that point in which the earth passes the same appointed position in it's travel arround the sun.
The Beginning & End (apha & omega) are two apparent (i.e. idealistic) entites united. They are at the point where man decided to start counting over again...and I think it is now marked by the zero meridian (universal time).
Hope this helps.

Interesting question. I would think that it is the point in time that something starts to degrade beyond it's ability to recover to it's previous physical characteristics.
Sorry I thought you said "WHAT is the beginning OF the end"
I'm not really sure there is any such thing as beginnings and endings out side of the human concept of such things. Supposedly matter can neither be created nor destroyed. Following that theory I would suppose there is no such thing as a beginning or end.

If we refer to a Mobius strip, the beginning and the end are somewhere in the middle. If we refer to a mystery novel, the beginning is at the end and the end is at the beginning (at least that's how they are often written and read). If we refer to the Universe, the beginning is ourselves and the end is a brick wall guarded by a mean dog. :-)

In reference to what? You are too vague. If you are thinking of time, numbers and eternity neither is present. However, if you refer to the universe, life, day, work., then there is a beginning and an end.

Beginning and end are concepts that we humans had to create because we cant understand infinity. Maybe our universe is one of billions and billions of them. Imagine stepping outside of our universe, which has and end, and discovering another.
