Unfortunately, you are probably right. Most Americans cant locate the state they live in when they look at a map of the US with no state boarders on it!

To make it even more sad, a radio staion asked the question..."What country is Puerto Rico in?" Listeners called into the station and made guesses like: Mexico, South America and Costa Rica!!! Can you believe it!

I posted a website that tells you the bill of rights.

It is very strange to witness, but many Americans have no idea what the heritage of our country is - they are fascist lovers, they want a big mean daddy to whip them in line and whip up on the other kids' daddys.

These Americans think that not being able to force their religion on others is a violation of their rights. They think exercising the first amendment right to criticize the president is traiterous. They think fair trial provisions are 'coddling' the guilty. These Americans are a danger to our country and the whole world.

With the way they are "interpreted" you can't know what the bill of rights are. I am a fan of the second amendment. ...the right to bear arms shall not be infringed." Yet there are 20,000 gun laws. Even with me being a gun nut, I think that you should be over 18 to buy a gun, be mentally competent, and that full auto guns and explosives should be regulated. All in all they should be held close to the original intent of the founding fathers, not the modern PC interpretations.

I'd have to agree that our younger Americans do not know anything about the Bill of Rights. Why should they? America is about worshipping pointless people Paris Hiltion. America is about keeping tabs on Nick and Jessica or Brad and Angelina. We know where our priorities are at. *rolls eyes*

well many studies have shown that a majority of american citizens could not pass the citizenship test required of foreigners before they are allowed to become american citizens. it's funny how many people shout about immigrants assimilating and learning our ways, history, and customs when those very citizens don't know the ways, history, and customs of their own country.

Duh, no we don't know. We are ignorant Americans who don't know about our rights.

Good thing you're smarter than all of us. Maybe you can use your excellent grasp of the English language to explain it to us. Go ahead, use your superior knowledge to tell us all about it.

LOL- we also know what sarcasm is. That falls under our 1st Amendment right.
