oil grief, famine, war - I say it's all over by 2050, and we'll be living like Mad Max and the Thunderdome. There is no 'god' to pray to, only the power of our thoughts. How many negative thoughts have you had today?

HAHAHA! Mad Max eh? Cool! But I think we'll be rather similar to Minority Report scenario in 2050. Later on, we'll be using hydrogen-powered vehicles; or perhaps electricity efficient home appliances so we won't be really relying much anymore on oil products. We have become environmentally concerned than the previous decades and so we'd rather be more careful in consuming our resources.

Wars will eventually end; altho (in my opinion) not sooner until Bush isn't the president anymore and/or until the terrorists are finally neutralized.

Not many, who gives a rats a*ss about 2050...live for today and make the most of it...if you were lying on your deathbed knowing you were going to die in 3 hours what would be going through your mind? My guess is all the stupid things you wasted your life on and all the things you didn't do.

Live for today and stop worring about tomorrow and stuff you can't change.

As for how much longer before the world ends...well we will all be dead from pollution, toxicity or war long in no time the way the world is going today.

I would say about 8-9 billion years, humans will be gone within two or three centuries if things carry on the way they are but the world will still be here and a new species will rule the Earth. Unfortunately they won't be intelligent.

Hope that answered your question

Only God knows that. You have obviously made no effort to connect with God. Ahhh! I get it. You're one of these know-alls without a clue of what they're talking about. What is this "power of thoughts" thesis that you're waffling about? Any experiments, tests, field trials? I don't have negative thoughts - there is no room for negativity in my life.

There is GOD to pray too. Hope fully you will find him before the world does end. And only God knows when that day will be.

Well if your asking how long till the world ends. It would take a billion more years until our sun dies out and turns into a black hole then swallows the entire solar system. well as predicted by astronomers anyway.

I think we should concentrate on our lives rather than the world. If we die, that is the end of our world. If you/we have to guess, I say the world will not go over 2100
