I'm not a Taurus but I find them very wise and intelligent people and I completely agree with Y Factor. Gandhi's role in the independence of the nation is highly OVERRATED. I respect the man and his social views, the way he fought against the caste system was great but no nation can achieve independence without building an army and planting FEAR in the British. Everyone has forgotten to what measures Bhagat Singh & Subhas Chandra Bose went to. Gandhi wasn't even aiming for full independence, it was when Bhagat Singh and the HSRA were successful in conveying their message and mission across the nation by getting arrested and on trial that citizens of India awakened and pressured for full independence, Congress then declared full independence. Congress didn't do enough to save Bhagat Singh, otherwise India would be breathing in a truly independent nation, a secular, democratic and equal INDIA. He always feared if India did eventually achieve independence that the country will go in the hands of the rotten rich, farmers and laborers would suffer and the nation would be full of hunger and corruption. ....He was right, that's what exactly happened.
