I dont know about free, but Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 is a great coaster game, and has a Coaster Cam, where you can "ride" it. It goes for about $20.
edit:I KNOW you said free, but guess what. There are NOT any free ones. Call me an asshole will you?
edit2:You are absolutely right. I am an asshole. But I am an asshole that just moments after re-editing this post, will be designing and riding coasters in RCT3.....jerky. >.>

Roller Coaster Tycoon. Not free, but it's a good game. The 3rd has great graphics and you can ride it.

Use Limewire,they got it for FREE.There's a catch to it limewire got some cookies,spywares,unless ur using the PRO version.I'm using the pro version.Give me your email address and 10 points and i'll send the game setup to you.
