well, i'm muslim i'm egyptian and i'm so glad but i'd love to live in usa cuz there is better standard of living. BUT here in egypt people are very friendly , a great sense of humor we muslims and christians live together loving helping each other always, i thank all the people who explained to u how's ur mind is on a mess. u wrtie to muslims before know the christ and then talk abou islam?! well we all know the christ and we love him so much as we love each of GOD's prophets. better for u to study islam and see. this example of muslims are terrorists and we all know it's meaning in the dictionary,they don't present the billions of muslims around the world. come to egypt and see how tourists are welcomed how much the citizens are friendly. AND see a movie like paradise now that won the golden globe to let u know that many terrorists were ordinary prople even not religious!! but got fed up with ur politics and what u have done with the wrold it's not the middle east it's all over the world.

It is not all of the muslim population that view themselves as self - rightous. It is a small portion, the fanatics and extremeists. Men and women of the fringes view them selves in the same ay, mush as the BNP or the NAtional Front. LE PEn thinks he is right in deporting all immigrants out of france. Somehting most people may not agree with. However he believes he is right on the issue. The lafferty brothers believesd they were serving god by killing an innocent wife and child. Self rightousness can not be condemned to one religioon or culture, ist is a pan national ideal that is bred in the minds of those without hope and are desperate to fight out against the world that has condemend them.

In the United States, we practice freedom of religion, which would include Islam. However, in the Middle East, the main religion is Islam. They feel that nothing but Islam should be practiced there and that is alright. Besides, it's only the extremists that feel this way and they form an extremely small portion of the Islamic community. Most of them are very nice people with different beliefs. Again, nothing is wrong, just different. It seems to me that you are the self-rightous one.

Mankind today is on the brink of a precipice, not because of the danger of complete annihilation which is hanging over its head-this being just a symptom and not the real disease -but because humanity is devoid of those vital values which are necessary not only for its healthy development but also for its real progress. Even the Western world realises that Western civilization is unable to present any healthy values for the guidance of mankind. They don't take drugs, they don't drink alcohol, they pray more times a day than any other religion. Their religious book is the only one written in a current modern language....
As religions go, I'd say they are entitled to be pretty self righteous.
Personally, I think the world would be a lot better off without any religion rather than argue about which one is better.

All muslism are not the same. most who come to this country come to escape the tyranny of those extremist. Islam is a great faith if you get to the heart of it. I am a Christian but have a ton of repect for true followers of Islam. Try treating people as individuals from now on, it will make your day brighter!!

It is not just the Muslems. Almost every country that America, gives shelter to immigrants. HATE AMERICANS!

I think you are wrong... lots of westerns live in the Arabic countries ... and they treated well ... but the Arabs are the ones that are accused of being terrorists just because some group made a bombing .... Arab countries are always conquered by USA, England and Israel... why don't you take that into considering
