be there for one another, sometimes one person needs to talk about something and can not talk to anyone else. or the other way around. you enjoy being together is a friendly way. you know that friend would never lie to you or cheat you. I had a friend who I thought was a friend, just want me to be her banker, nothing more

The only way to be true to a friend is to be loyal, be there when they need you, and sometimes tell them things when it is not in there favor. tell them when you know something is going to hurt them in the long run. that's what's being a true friend to me is.

Be there anytime.. be honest, truthful, and be that shoulder needed to lean on when necessary. Friends are also not afraid to knock you into reality when needed no matter how hard it may hurt. They are there forever.

There was someone I used to work with who, well aware of their tendency to look at the negative side of things, used to constantly tell themselves to "think more positively". This was said with such a feeling of desperation that I just knew that not only would they NOT think positively, they would probably go even further into negative thinking.

Whats needed to be a good friend is just being their for in all situations and helping him out to figure out his mistakes. telling him his -ve points. be loyal, honest, sincere and u can get loads of friendZ.
