I could write a book on this but the answer is very simple; yes, he has! every President before him worked very hard to balance justice and toleration throughout the world. There is no special party, just common sense Presidents with good understanding of foreign policy. They knew when to flex our muscles and when to stand down once the point was made. Yes, there were some exceptions and mistakes made but overall, it worked.
In less than 2 years Bush had screwed everything up and all our allies were turning against us (except those he bribed and had lots of oil, for his profiteering schemes). His hawks came out with dreams of world domination and indoctrination and so it will continue for another 2 years. The public is tired of the lying and deceit and will speak at the polls.

Definitely.
This country had a lot of good will from countries and citizens
in the Middle East immediately after 9/11 which we have
completely squandered.
Yeah, we crippled the Taliban, but by putting our troops in
Iraq instead of leaving them in Afghanastan long enough to
set up a stable government, we'll end up with a stable
government in neither.
His attitude towards the United Nations and not enlisting
consensus prior to the Iraqi blunder has made the United
States the central focus of world terrorists instead of
the will of the world.
His strong bonds with Saudi Arabian oil, whether or not
they were a motive for his actions in Iraq, have completely
undermined any moral authority for anything the US
government is doing there.
Others, quite understandably believe that we are there
only for the oil.
The concept that we are bringing democracy to dangerously
armed nations is ludicrous on its face, since at this point we
know that both Iran and North Korea are more dangerous.
Where we bombed with Iraq, we tap dance with North Korea.
Could it be because they actually have WMDs?

You can not lcump all of Americas foreign policy with regards to the iddle east, Russia, Venezuala and paskistan (as well as otehr naitons meant to harbour terrorists or serve as meanss fo fundraising). Each naiton in the middle east and outside has a unique policy in place. To say that one, universal foreign policy, is hurting americaa is folly because such a thing doesnt exist. It is an oversimplification of a complex issue that you clearly have little understanding of. It may seemt hat the US is only pro israel and saudi arabia in teh middle east, but that is not so. The us is working hard to foster better relations with Iran and Syria as well.

I do not see any incompetence in Mr. Bush's foreign policy. Are you referring to the fact that he refuses to follow the old Dem policy of ignore terrorism and it will go away? Or the bow down and kiss the nethers of every tinhorn dictator in the world and maybe they will like us mentality? If so, all I can say is it's about time. If the world does not like us sobeit. I am going to let you in on a little secret though, the world has never liked us. Get oevr it. You, me, and everyone in this country is safer because of the adminitration's policies regarding terrorism. Doesn't really matter whether you like it or not, sometimes people just have to be saved in spite of themselves.

I find it ironic the the user who's name is 'idontkno' doesn't think it has put us in greater danger. At least his name is honest. He doesn't really 'kno' haha!
I think you already know the answer any logical and rationally-minded person might give, but I think you're looking for confirmation, or opposition to your opinion. I happen to think the world would be much better off with a primate for a president than...wait...I mean I human being, rather than a primate. But maybe that's just me...

I think everyone knows the answer to that question is yes, but you need to look back further to all foreign dealings in the Middle East, especially in conjunction with oil and the establishment of the state of Israel.

Has there been a major and successful attack on American soil since 9/11? NO!
So, I have to say, NO to your question. I feel that G.W. is very competent in foreign policy. I agree with his foreign policy. And that was one of the primary reasons I voted for him.
