No, but we've learned through others' experience and also the hard way that if you hear thunder, unplug. It's no fun having to get your computer fixed or replaced because of lightning.

Now, if we THINK we hear thunder, we unplug, check the weather, and plug in when the coast seems clear.

No. I'm in Toronto, Canada. The last thunderstorm we had was on August 3rd, after the extreme heat wave that brought temperatures up to 43C or 109F. And the dewpoints were 31C or 88F, which means extreme humidity, there was just so much moisture in the air. The thunderstorms were menacing, it was near-derecho. The clouds were extremely dark, lightning was continuous. Winds gusted up to 124km/h or 77mph, and there were sheets of rain. One lightning stroke hit a few hundreds of metres away.

Thankfully no. Even at the ripe old age of 37 it still freaks me out, mainly at night. Sunny at the moment (west london) but been raining, and more on the way by the looks of things.

Nope not yet! It will be tonight we are have a cool front coming through which will make it tomarrow a cool 84 out lol and cloudy and a 90% chance of showers and thunderstorms lol I cant wait been to damn hot lol NW oklahoma
