Know the difference between a Yankee and a Damn Yankee?
A Yankee is someone who is born up north, and visits down south.
A Damn Yankee is someone who is born up north, goes south, and never goes home.

I'm a Damn Yankee - born in Connecticut, moved to Texas, never went back.

i'm from the northeast, NH to be authentic. in my opinion, I actually were right down to the South (Tennessee and Louisiana) and that i love it down there. I also imagine that southern accents are appealing. i'm sorry you experience this manner, yet you would possibly want to not because i'm a Yankee and performance no problem with you. Why do you've problems with New Hampshire? have you ever been to NH? what's the most north you've been? and likewise, Daniel Boone become born in Pennsylvania, which technically is above the Mason-Dixon Line, making both Daniel Boone, and Pennsylvania no longer southern. So if i become born and raised in American, and moved and depending area of Mexico, ought to that make me Mexican? did not imagine so. Wait? so youre affirming that because you moved to the Midwest, you aren't any further southern anymore....? hypocrite. no longer all persons are undesirable.

I live in Maryland so when I travel to the South, they think I am a Yankee. But, when I travel north, everyone thinks I am as Southern as cotton and tobacco!

I guess I'll just be a cross-regioner. A lot less problematic than cross-dressing (yuck).

A Yankee! Southerners are inbred idiots who don't believe in evolution, equal rights, global warming, a fair and just economic system and have the mental state/progress of a 12th century retarded villager.

I was born in the north, moved to California in my teens, then to the South winding up in Texas still in my teens. Texas is unique a little bit of the south but has an acceptance of change and desire for change, did not find in the south[rural] But does not have the exurbance of California. Texas has the same Mexican influence of California and is richer for it. Only in Texas, I love it!!!
