I wouldn't give him the silent treatment, this offense is not harsh enough for something like that. However, I would give him the cold shoulder. Every time he would ask me something, that is along the lines of personal, I would reply with something like. I wouldn't know my butt is getting in the way of my thoughts today. If he ask for a hug I would say are you sure that your arms can fit around this big ole butt. Try to bring it up at least 3 times a day for the next 2 days without cracking a smile. Look really serious and cold while you're saying it and he'll think twice before he makes such an insensitive commit.
