it has connection to the place & parents which they are born with.
also, to most people who had experienced miracle & has enlightened their thoughts in facing life situtations, they become more religious & attached to their belief of their own Gods...
but eventhough people has different Gods, our faith and prayers of thanks should be directly above...

Because they grow up with that and it becomes part of their Super Ego, so that once they are away from their family they still have that same strong feeling that being religious is something good and fullifying (the same feeling you get when you brush your teeth before bedtime). However, some people rationalize the whole staff and start saying that they in fact WANT to be religious because that is something good, positive or what ever you can imagine, while some (and these are in a big big minority) can penetrate through the psychological barrier and they become atheist.
The best proof for this interpretation is the fact that people who are born in areas where there are no religion are not religious since there were no parents to bother them (e.g. Chinese in medieval period were mainly irreligious and so the parents were and so they thought their children the same manner)

They are weak. The cannot walk straight without the crutch that religious belief provides.

Which is fine with me, except when they try to convince others that it's better to walk with a crutch. That's where I draw the line.
