I have been a fan since "Looking for Mr. Goodbar" back in.... too long ago. Anyway, whether people think he's a pretty boy, gay, whatever, he is still a very great and underrated actor. Examples: check him out as a bad guy in "Internal Affairs" and "Looking for Mr. Goodbar", a song and dance man in "Chicago" and "Shall We Dance" or in the many other good dramatic roles like in (of course) "An Officer and a Gentleman", "Primal Fear", "The Jackal", "Somersby".

He's awesome. And he just gets better and better. Intelligent actor, class, really cool person. Favorite Gere movies are Primal Fear, Bee Season, and Intersection.

He's alright. He's one of those actors where you can take him or leave em. I like his older stuff myself. Like Officer and a Gentlemen.

only movie I remember of his is Pretty Woman, and I didnt really like that one too much
