depends if its an electric fan, should be just a couple of bolts holding it on.

if its a mechanical fan attached to the waterpump you need special tools to remove the fan and remember its left hand threads

Leave it with the hood open in Newark, N.J. It will be removed, alond with most of the other parts, in no time!
