Are you sure it's an echo? It might just be a slight delay. If you have a microphone, try unplugging it, or muting it in your volume control settings. Try muting each option individually, and if you don't have alot of options, go into the properties and check all of the different options you see. Other than that, it might be within the program you are using like the other person said. Sometimes a reverb setting can get tweaked on accident. Or an echo setting. Usually those can be fixed with the click of a button.

I rather have my pc appropriate to a bass booster and a pair of twenty watt audio equipment and that i play each little thing via it now. I rather have a Sony stereo with 2x100 watt audio equipment that i'd desire to by no ability play finished on that I rather have'nt used now in 6 months

if it plays fine when u turn on ur computer than its the program u r using to play music, if u use windows media player u need to open the equilizer, theres like stuff in the that makes it echo, thats all it is

could be your mic is to close to your speakers and as the com boots up it`s ok because it takes a second for the mic to come on after booting up but it is geting interference from somthing try moving the speakers away from any thing that might cause this

ur microphone may be too close to ur speakers or ur equalizer settings are not well it may have switched on the 3d depth from the sound control option of the windows
