what's your picture about Islam and Muslim and from where did this picture come from?

Great question.

My picture of Islam is of a great religion which stopped advancing with the modern world several centuries ago and is now so alien in terms of its laws and rules that it frightens the rest of the world, and alienates its own followers.

My picture comes from listening to two ends of the spectrum. The old men who run the religion globally who preach intolerance and hatred, and who are so clearly out of touch and sympathy with the modern world.

The other end is the radicallised young men who are so brainwashed with hate anger and frustration that they are prepared to end innocent peoples lives to make their point.

Then I see several hundred million people in between who lack the guts to stand up to the two ends of the spectrum and re-claim their religion as a religion of peace and tolerance.

I feel sad for those whose religion is law written by man such as Islam which can be interpreted for good or bad. My God is love and gave me the right of choice, and I chose to follow the Lord Jesus Christ who nailed my sins to the cross when he died for me, and returned to Heaven. where I will go
