Find a chat room with people that have the same interest you have. Though they are full of morons, pron bots and other low lives there are some REAL people there. You just have to wade though the human garbage to reach them. I have made some good friends that way. once I found them I made other arraignments to contact them like Email.

try cellpals....an internet site that lets you communicate with prisoners who have no one in their lives to write to or visit them. it's a good site, free and safe. i started writting to a prisoner about a year ago and we're very good friends now...it was worth the stamp to write to him.
